Certification is done in two different ways, resulting in two different kinds of certificates:
- As a capability approval of products sent to 3P, certified as an "Attestation of Conformity", or
- As a full production line approval, certified as a "Compliance Statement"

Facilitating OEM production parallel certification is possible for all products having a full production line qualification, as well as for links & channels having a capability approval only.

A company marketing products from other producers having a full production line qualification may sell the product in its own name when parallel certification has been granted.
