An early special rating applied by 3P for horizontal cables and not supporting for instance Gigabit Ethernet. Compliance with the following standards are verified:

ISO/IEC 1st edition 11801, CENELEC EN 50173, TIA/EIA-568-A, CENELEC 1st edition EN 50288-2-1 (for screened cables) and CENE- LEC 1st edition EN 50288-3-1 (for unscreened cables).

Category 5+ (Cat. 5e):
Compliance with the following standards is verified:

ISO/IEC 2nd edition 11801, CENELEC EN 50173-1, ANSI/TIA/EIA 568-B.2, IEC 61156-5 (for horizontal cables), IEC 61156-6 (for flexible cable), CENELEC 2nd edition EN 50288-2-1 (for screened horizontal cables), CENELEC 2nd edition EN 50288-2-2 (for screened flexible cables), CENELEC 2nd edition EN 50288-3-1 (for unscreened horizontal cables) and CENELEC 2nd edition EN 50288-3-2 (for unscreened flexible cables).

Category 6:
Compliance with the following standards is verified:

ISO/IEC 2nd edition 11801, CENELEC EN 50173-1, ANSI/TIA/EIA 568-B.2-1, IEC 61156-5 (for horizontal cables), IEC 61156-6 (for flexible cable), CENELEC EN 50288-5-1 (for screened horizontal cables), CENELEC EN 50288-5-2 (for screened flexible cables), CENELEC EN 50288-6-1 (for unscreened horizontal cables) and CENELEC EN 50288-6-2 (for unscreened flexible cables).

Category 6+:
Compliance with the following standards is verified:

ISO/IEC 2nd edition 11801, CENELEC EN 50173-1, ANSI/TIA/EIA 568-B.2-1, IEC 61156-5 (for horizontal cables), IEC 61156-6 (for flexible cable), CENELEC EN 50288-5-1 (for screened horizontal cables), CENELEC EN 50288-5-2 (for screened flexible cables), CENELEC EN 50288-6-1 (for unscreened horizontal cables), CENE LEC EN 50288-6-2 (for unscreened flexible cables) and 3P require ments for Category 6+ cables.

Category 6-10G:
This horizontal cable rating is still under development and will demonstrate compliance with the following standards:

ISO/IEC 2nd edition 11801, CENELEC EN 50173-1, ANSI/TIA/EIA 568-B.2-1, future IEC 2nd edition 61156-5, CENELEC EN 50288-5-1 (for screened horizontal cables), CENELEC EN 50288-6-1 (for unscreened horizontal cables) and 3P requirements for Category 6+ cables.

Category 6-500:
(Cat. 6A): This cable rating is still under development and will demonstrate compliance with the following standards:

Draft ISO/IEC 2nd edition 11801 amendment, draft CENELEC EN 50173-1 amendment, draft ANSI/TIA/EIA 568-B.2-10, future IEC 2nd edition 61156-5 (for horizontal cables), future IEC 2nd edition 61156-6 (for flexible cables), future CENELEC EN 50288-10-1 (for horizontal cables) and future CENELEC EN 50288-10-2 (for flexible cables).

Category 7:
Compliance with the following standards is verified:

ISO/IEC 2nd edition 11801, CENELEC EN 50173-1, ANSI/TIA/EIA 568-B.2-1, IEC 61156-5 (for horizontal cables), IEC 61156-6 (for flexible cable), CENELEC 2nd edition EN 50288-4-1 (for horizontal cables), CENELEC 2nd edition EN 50288-4-2 (for flexible cables).

Category 7-1000:
This cable rating is still under development and will demonstrate compliance with the following standards:

ISO/IEC 2nd edition 11801, ISO/IEC 15018, CENELEC EN 50173-1, draft CENELEC EN 50173-4, ANSI/TIA/EIA 568-B.2-10, IEC 61156-5 (for horizontal cables), IEC 61156-6 (for flexible cable), CENELEC 2nd edition EN 50288-4-1 (for horizontal cables), CENELEC 2nd edition EN 50288-4-2 (for flexible cables).

Category 8:
This cable rating is still under development and will demonstrate compliance with the following standards:
